Well, Opeth are recording right now... If I can get a new Opeth album and some time to fully appreciate all the great music from 2007, then 2008 will be a good year.

The new Whitesnake would have to be me the one I am most anxious for.

I am curious about the new Metallica, but St.Anger was so bad, I don't know if they can recover from that.

Tesla has said they are putting a new one out in '08, and I will definitely be the first to own that one.

Black Stone Cherry will release their sophomore effort in 2008 as well. Looking forward to that one too.

Opeth and The Sword. I can't wait to hear what Mikael and the guys come up with now that Peter's gone.
And the Sword's new songs leaked on youtube are in the same vein as Age of Winters, but their growth is showing in the song writing.
The album Judas Priest is prepping, based on Nostradamus (wtf is up with that, guys? running out of ideas?) kinda worries me.

The recently announced Heaven & Hell studio album is tops on my list. I just hope there are some faster tunes on it. The slow/mid-tempo stuff is great but I wouldn't mind a few songs that are uptempo in the vein of 'Neon Knights' or 'Mob Rules'.

I'm interested in the new Judas Priest - Nostradamus but I'm a little worried about a concept album. There is supposed to be a new Halford record (Halford IV) but I think that's on hold until Priest is finished touring Nostradamus.
